About Get That Tone

We believe every guitarist deserves to sound like their heroes — without buying new gear.

Get That Tone was born out of a simple frustration: watching YouTube tutorials that say "just set your gain to around 7" — with no regard for the fact that a gain knob on a Blues Junior behaves completely differently to one on a Marshall DSL.

Our tone matching engine takes into account your specific guitar, amp, and pedal configuration and translates a song's target tone into exact knob positions for your rig. No more generic advice.

The live mode takes it further — plug your mic in, play along to the track, and watch as we give you real-time feedback on which knobs to nudge and in which direction.
