This policy explains what personal data Get That Tone (“we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, the third-party services that process it on our behalf, and the rights you have over it.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address, name, and account preferences.
• App content: your rig configurations and saved settings cards.
• Billing data: if you subscribe, your payment is handled by a third-party payment processor; we store your subscription status and a payment-provider customer reference, but never your full card number.
• Usage & device data: with your consent, pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location (from IP), device/browser type, and anonymized interaction events used to understand and improve the product.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and operate the Get That Tone service, process subscriptions, send transactional email (such as password resets and receipts), and — with your consent — to analyze usage and improve our tone matching. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services we use

We use trusted third-party service providers (“processors”) to operate Get That Tone — including hosting and database infrastructure, payment processing, transactional email delivery, and website and advertising analytics. These providers only receive the data needed to perform their function on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Cookies & tracking

We use a small number of essential cookies (and browser local storage) for authentication and to remember your preferences. These are required for the site to function and are always on.

We also use analytics and advertising cookies set by our third-party analytics and advertising providers. These are not loaded until you accept them via our cookie banner. If you decline, these scripts and their cookies are never loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the “cookie consent” value in your browser’s local storage, which will make the banner appear again.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from your account settings. To request a data export, email privacy@getthattone.com.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems; some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
